New Life Locations

New Life Clinton Street Project:
New Life's ministry on the Lower East Side of Manhattan has been in existence since 1973. It has known a number of locations over the years, starting out in the Nixon apartment. Since 1994, this project has been located at New Life's building on 66 Clinton Street.

New Life Brooklyn Project:
New Life in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn has been in operation since 1991. Space is provided for New Life's program activities in the Bedford Central Presbyterian Church.

New Life Catherine Street Project:
New Life at Catherine Street has been serving kids since 1990. New Life developed an outreach in the Alfred E. Smith Houses-comprised of twelve government subsidized, low income apartment buildings with a population of 5600 residents. 83 Catherine Street, located across the street from the housing project, was leased and renovated in 1993.

New Life Queens Project:
New Life in Corona, Queens started in 1984 by one of New Life's staff workers who's vision was to focus on teenagers who are wards of the state and who live in state managed group homes. The Job / Life Program equips youth to become marketable and productive working citizens. Training goals focus on time management, fiscal management, conflict resolution and development of life skills. At the completion of the training program, New Life assists youth in securing jobs.

New Life Learning Center:
Developed in 1994, the New Life Computer Learning Center, located on the third floor at 66 Clinton Street, is working with educationally at risk youngsters with a program designed to break through their sense of academic failure and address their individual learning needs. The Plato 200 education system enables students to improve their reading, math, language arts, typing and computer skills. Students also receive one-on-one tutoring, homework help, exam preparation, and benefit from writing workshops. The Learning Center also sponsors an annual College Tour for junior and senior high school students during spring break. The Learning Center staff strive to build caring relationships with students, gaining the opportunity to share their faith and help young people build a strong spiritual foundation.New Life Projects
